Frequently Asked Questions
Everything about scoring, tournaments, officials, and subscriptions.
How does live scoring work?+
You enter the score at each changeover — the 90-second break every two games. Your opponent confirms, and the live board updates instantly for everyone following.
Do I need an official to score a match?+
No. Racketlovers is player-centric: every score change is confirmed by mutual consent between you and your opponent — no umpire required.
Does Racketlovers support both tennis and padel?+
Yes. Switch between Tennis and Padel modes; each surfaces the right tournaments, formats and scoring rules.
What scoring formats are supported?+
Best of 3 sets, a tiebreak at 6–6, No-Ad scoring, and a 10-point Match tiebreak — for singles and doubles, across age categories.
What is No-Ad scoring, and the Golden Point?+
In No-Ad, the point at deuce (40–40) decides the game — no advantage. In padel, that decisive point is called the Golden Point.
Can spectators follow a match without an account?+
Yes. Anyone can tap Watch as Spectator to follow live, and favorite players to get a push notification on every score change.
How does the tournament board work?+
Every tournament has a Live tab and a Results tab. You can follow every match in the event — who played whom, and the score — in real time or after it's done.
Can I fix a wrong score?+
Yes. You can correct any set during the match, or use 'Correct Result' to fix the final set.
Is Racketlovers free?+
Watching is free forever. Players can start up to 5 matches free; unlimited matches need Pro (€4.99/month or €34.99/year).
